After nearly blowing it, the Cleveland Cavaliers won Game 5 in dramatic fashion by a score of 98-95, taking a 3-2 series lead against the Indiana Pacers.

The Cleveland Cavaliers snatched victory from the hands of the Indiana Pacers in Game 5, taking a 3-2 series lead with a heart-pounding 98-95 victory.

LeBron James did what one would expect in a game of this magnitude, finishing with 44 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists, including the game-saving block on one end, followed by the game-winning 3-pointer on the other.

Kyle Korver stepped up once again in the victory, as the 15-year veteran had 19 points, including five big 3-pointers.

Indiana’s backcourt struggled in defeat, as Darren Collison had just four points while Victor Oladipo ended up with 12 points on 2-of-15 shooting.

To say the Cavaliers escaped Game 5 by the skin of their teeth would be an understatement, as the Pacers had multiple chances to take the lead in the final minutes of play.

If Cleveland wants to close out this series in Game 6 on Friday, it might not get so lucky.
