Highlights

As evidenced by his strengths, Russell had quite a few showings of greatness. From the white-hot quarter in Toronto to his triple-double against those same Raptors, D-Russ exhibited some great qualities to be a first option someday.

In case you missed the Nets’ top 10 moments this season, here are each of those showings:

Russell might have a history of ice in his veins, but on that night, he was all but cold. Quite honestly, no defender was stopping him from ripping all that twine.

Triple-doubles have become progressively more arbitrary as NBA fans get smarter, but don’t let that distract you from just how great this performance was. Dishing out 13 dimes against a 60-win squad is no small feat, especially when the man opposite Russell was all-world defender Kyle Lowry.

DLo had quite a few great assists this season, including one that resulted in merely two of Allen Crabbe‘s historic 41 points:

Don’t look now, but DLo might’ve just nutmegged you too.

Nikola Vucevic should’ve just taken the L when he had the chance; the Orlando Magic proceeded to funnel off plenty more Ls after that. Russell hopes to drop dimes like these for years to come, especially with a vertical threat like Jarrett Allen finishing anything and everything.
