1. Ball movement is crucial

At one point during the game you can clearly hear Milwaukee Bucks coach Joe Prunty yell to his players to move the ball. This is a common issue for any team whose offense is stagnant. Without ball movement, players are coming down the court for iso-ball or chucking up poor shots.

Look at the Golden State Warriors. They lead the league in assists and have one of the most potent offenses in the game. It is the same of the Houston Rockets, who continually move the ball until the best shot is found.

The Bucks were terrible most of the first half with their ball movement. Bledsoe and Antetokounmpo kept taking shots after bringing the ball down. No offense was set up and the Celtics rebounded the ball with ease.

By the end of the game, the Bucks had 21 assists, which is not a bad number. The problem is Antetokounmpo had nine of these, mostly in the second half. That means the rest of the team had 12 total.
