Final grade

Julius Randle was the Los Angeles Lakers’ best and most consistent player for the 2017-18 NBA regular season. He was the only player to appear in all 82 games for the Lakers, and has the statistical production to cement his status as this team’s top player.

Given his ensuing restricted free agency this summer, I’d expect Randle’s name to stay in trade talk if the Lakers see an opportunity to package him and grab a superstar if they become available. I would personally like to see him strike a deal to return to the Lakers given how well he fits this system and his play heading in an upward trajectory.

Based off his stats, durability and reliability this season, I’ll give Julius Randle, the longest-tenured Laker at the moment, a solid B+ for this season.
