Highlights

In terms of moments of remembrance for Julius Randle’s 2017-18 NBA season, his career-high performance against the Cleveland Cavaliers stands out to me. Randle finished with a career-high 36 points, 14 rebounds and seven assists in a game that showed how dominant he can be when opposing team’s lack a legit interior presence.

I touched on his defense versatility and activity in the strengths section of this article, and there are numerous plays he made that highlight his impact on the defensive end, which are shown in this video:

However, it’s tough to argue that Julius Randle’s top highlight of the season came on Mar. 30 when he drove into the paint and posterized Tyler Zeller:

These three videos highlight areas of Randle’s game that stood out this season. The Cavs game showed how much of a force he can be, the defense montage portrays his ability to be effective on both sides of the floor, and the last dunk is a prime example as to why defenders shouldn’t challenge him at the rim when he has a full head of steam.
