As is the case with most rebuilding teams, the offseason is crucial to the franchise’s future. Here are the five most important things for the Brooklyn Nets’ front office to address this summer.

The summer of 2018 figures to be a crucial one for the Brooklyn Nets‘ rebuild. If the previous two summers tell us anything, it’s that general manager Sean Marks will be hard at work.

That’s good to know, because quite a few decisions must be made that could impact the Nets for years to come. They only have about $15 million in cap space as of now, per Spotrac, before accounting for free agent holds.

Several elements of the roster must be examined, and the front office cannot be slow to react. Being proactive will allot them the most favorable leverage going forward, and it mustn’t be taken lightly.
