The Denver Nuggets just missed the postseason, but their 2017-18 season was full of memorable moments as well as things to build on.
The Denver Nuggets finished the regular season with a 46-36 record. They were a win shy of the 2018 NBA Playoffs, so next season should come with high expectations.
Big man Nikola Jokic led the team in scoring (18.5 points per game) but he had tons of assistance in the scoring department. Guard Gary Harris had a breakout year, putting up 17.5 points per contest. Jamal Murray put up 15.7 points per game in his second season in the league. Then there was Will Barton, who was their fourth-leading scorer off the bench with 15.7 points per game.
All in all, the Denver Nuggets had one of the best offenses in the NBA, scoring 110.0 points per game. They were sixth in the league this season in that category and their starting rotation ranked ninth in the NBA in points per game (75.8).
Points weren’t the only thing Nikola Jokic was a leader in either. He also led the Denver Nuggets in rebounds (10.7 per game) and assists (6.1 per game). Jamal Murray is coming along at point guard, but Jokic’s upside has been something to keep an eye on as well. Here’s a look at the top 10 moments from the Denver Nuggets’ 2017-18 season.
