After a two-game home-stand, the Washington Wizards have tied the series at 2-2 against the Toronto Raptors with a victory on Sunday night.

The Washington Wizards got a 106-98 victory on Sunday night, evening things up at 2-2 with the Toronto Raptors entering a decisive Game 5. After losing two games in open the series, the Wizards have since won two games in a row.

Just like that, it’s a series again after another strong game from John Wall and company. Wall and fellow shooting guard Bradley Beal combined for 58 points to overcome another strong game from Raptors wingman DeMar DeRozan. DeRozan finished the game with 35 points on 10-of-29 shooting.

It was the second straight game where Beal put up 25 points or more. In Game 4, he led his team with 31 points, showing that he’s worked out of his shooting slump for the most part. He had fouled out by the end of Game 4, but Wall saved the day.

John Wall is back. Not that he ever left, but he missed 41 games during the regular season due to a knee injury. Since then, he’s worked his way back into playing shape, but it still seemed like he was missing a step.

Four games into the postseason, it looks like Wall and the Washington Wizards are hitting their stride at just the right time. As things head back to Toronto, here’s a look at three takeaways from the Wizards’ Game 4 victory.
