Despite their final record, the Sacramento Kings had plenty of memorable moments throughout the 2017-18 NBA season.

The Sacramento Kings compiled a 27-55 record in 2017-18. That mark is five games worse than their record the season before, and it earned them a 12th-place finish in the Western Conference. As a result, the Kings are spending their 12th consecutive spring missing out on the NBA Playoffs.

Those numbers don’t paint a pretty picture. However, it may look a little better if you consider 2017-18 as the first year of a new rebuild. This rebuild kicked off in February of 2017 when the Kings shipped mercurial star DeMarcus Cousins to the New Orleans Pelicans.

The process continued by unloading big contracts, bringing in five promising rookies and signing veterans to mentor them.

2017-18 saw a lot of growing pains. In their second year under Dave Joerger, Sacramento had the second-worst offense and fourth-worst defense in the NBA. The Kings scored 101.1 points per 100 possessions while allowing 108.9 points per 100.

However, the Kings were still an exciting team to watch at times. 2017-18 was filled with plenty of memorable moments, and what follows are 10 of the best examples.
