Cleveland Cavaliers: 3 takeaways from Game 4 vs. Pacers

After defeating the Indiana Pacers in Game 4,104-100, the Cleveland Cavaliers have regained momentum in the series, knotting it at two games apiece.

The first round matchup between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Indiana Pacers is tied at 2-2 after a team effort (finally) helped Cleveland take Game 4 in Indiana, 104-100, giving the Cavs home-court advantage once again.

Much like Game 3, the Cavaliers built up a double-digit lead, only to see the Pacers climb back and take the lead numerous times in the fourth quarter.

The only difference this time was Cleveland’s ability to remain composed enough to execute down the stretch in order to secure the victory.

LeBron James flashed his usual all-around greatness, finishing with 32 points on 12-of-22 shooting, to go along with 13 rebounds and seven assists.

Cleveland finally got contributions from someone other than James, as three other Cavaliers scored in double-figures. They were led by Kyle Korver, who finished with 18 on 4-of-9 shooting from 3-point range.

Indiana actually had seven players of its own in double figures, led by Domantas Sabonis‘ 19, but with Victor Oladipo shooting only 5-of-20 for 17 points, the Pacers had a difficult time generating offense.

With the series heading back to The Land for Game 5, the Cavaliers are back in the driver’s seat. However, Indiana won Game 1 in Cleveland, meaning it is not guaranteed Cleveland will go up 3-2 in the series.
