The Chicago Bulls have dealt away several players over the past few seasons. Here’s a look at how some of them are faring in the 2018 NBA Playoffs.

Despite qualifying for the postseason eight times during a 10-year stretch, the Chicago Bulls decided it was time to go in a different direction following a first-round exit at the hands of the Boston Celtics in 2017 NBA Playoffs.

As part of the rebuilding process, they parted ways with players such as Jimmy Butler, Rajon Rondo and Dwyane Wade during the offseason. Furthermore, the Bulls eventually dealt Nikola Mirotic to the New Orleans Pelicans, netting them another first round selection in this year’s NBA Draft.

At the time such moves are made, it isn’t always easy to determine which side got the better end of the deal. There are instances in which letting a player walk or trading them turns out to be the best decision for a franchise.

Other times, the players in question go on to be more productive with their new teams. With that in mind, here’s a look at a few of the former Bulls that are making some noise in the 2018 NBA Playoffs.
