Boston Celtics: 3 takeaways from Game 4 vs. Bucks
2. Two young wings playing anything like it
Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown continue to play like 10-year veterans during these playoffs, as the 20- and 21-year-olds combined for 55 points in the Game 4 defeat.
Brown, who cranked in five shots from beyond the arc in his 41 minutes of play, has shown that he’s more than just a physical specimen by flashing his ability to handle the ball as well as space the floor all the way out to the 3-point line.
Tatum has shown throughout the season that no matter which team had the first overall pick, they should’ve selected him.
Both Tatum and Brown have two of the brightest futures in the league playing for one if its flagship franchises, but it’s their play in the present that has shocked everyone who’s tuned in to watch.
If the two young guns on the Celtics can continue to score at a high level against the length of Milwaukee, they give Boston two players it can count on to produce a bucket when needed, something the team desperately needs with the absence of Kyrie Irving.
