Despite pulling out their first two playoff games in their opening round bout against the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Houston Rockets dropped their first contest of the postseason on Saturday night. Here are the three takeaways from Game 3.

On an evening where the Houston Rockets were seeking to seize a 3-0 series lead in their best-of-seven series against the Minnesota Timberwolves, Jimmy Butler and his teammates appeared to have other plans in mind.

The four-time All-Star poured in 28 points, seven rebounds and five assists to help Minnesota capture its first postseason victory in 14 years, with a 121-105 win at home over Houston in Game 3 of their first round playoff series.

Jeff Teague scored 23 points, while Andrew Wiggins added 20 points and four triples to help the Timberwolves put together a 50 percent shooting night from the field in front of a raucous crowd at the Target Center. Karl-Anthony Towns came to life as well, tallying 18 points and 16 rebounds.

James Harden, who scored just 12 points on 2-for-18 shooting in his previous outing, led the way for the Rockets with a game-high 29 points and seven assists. Chris Paul finished the game with 17 points on 7-of-11 shooting in a valiant effort.
