Washington Wizards: 3 takeaways from Game 3 vs. Raptors
1. Welcome to the playoffs, Bradley Beal
Friday night was the perfect time for Bradley Beal to have a huge game. He finished with 28 points on 10-of-19 shooting along with four rebounds, four assists and three steals. It was a huge step in the right direction after such a poor display for Game 2.
Beal came into Friday night after turning in a -34 plus/minus score in Game 2. He had just nine points on 3-of-11 shooting and was nowhere to be found on offense or defense. All that changed in Game 3.
Beal posted a plus/minus of +19 in Game 3, turning things up on both ends. He was 4-for-9 from 3-point range, a big difference from his first two performances. In his own coming out party, he showed just how dangerous the Wizards can be when both he and Wall are clicking.

Things got chippy during the game, but if anything, it energized the Wizards who won by 19 points. They lost the first two games and it was on them to get a victory on their home floor. With a notch in the win column, it’s good for their psyche. Now, they’ll have a chance to even the series in Game 4 on Sunday.
