3. The chippy play continues
The playoffs bring the best and worst emotions out of athletes. In the NBA, you can be one wrong look away from an altercation. Friday gave the latest example in a variety of ways.
The first video shows a semi-hard foul, which leads to your expected pushing and shoving. This led to the Twitter highlight of the game.
Everybody seems to be thinking the same thing here: “What the hell did John Wall say?” Nonetheless, it created quite the scene as Washington slowly starts to creep into the Raptors’ heads. The playoffs are often about composure in tight situations. Toronto is going to have to do a better job at holding its composure when the chance presents itself.
Neither team appears to be backing down as the series has remained physical and heated since Game 1. Expect a much more feisty Raptors squad for Game 4. We just hope everything stays on the court and basketball-related.
