3. Jabari Parker earned his 30 minutes

Yes, Jabari Parker earned every single one of his 30 minutes of action in Game 3. When he first hit the court, Parker was a little shaky from the field. His confidence must have been down because in the first two games of the series Parker had scored two points – total.

He got fouled and made 1-of-2 free throws and was at his 2017-18 playoff average. But after missing some jumpers, he ran the floor hard to receive a great alley-oop pass from Middleton. After that, Parker was off and running. His next two shots were from less than three feet and he made them both.

Just seeing the ball go through the hoop must have had a tremendous impact on him, because Parker then nailed a 3 from the side to snuff out a potential Boston run.

Parker finished with 17 points, five rebounds, two steals, two blocks and an assist. This is a great stat line for a player who has struggled to make any impact on a series so far.

He was switched on for the time he was on the court. Parker ran the floor hard in transition, defended as well as he could and generally bought in to what the team was trying to accomplish. Hopefully with the renewed confidence, Parker can be a tremendous spark off the bench for the remainder of the series.
