6. Dallas goes for a season-high 130 points
The Dallas Mavericks didn’t have the greatest season on offense. They finished 28th in the league in points per game (102.3) and 23rd in offensive rating (104.1). Despite the low numbers, they did manage to put up a season-high 130 points against another up and coming team, the Los Angeles Lakers.
On Feb. 10, the Mavericks defeated Los Angeles 130-123 in a tough regular season battle. Dallas overcame a barrage of 20+ point performances from Isaiah Thomas, Julius Randle and Brandon Ingram to pull out a late regular season victory. Thomas and Ingram both finished with 22 points while Randle led all scorers in the game with 26 points.

Dallas was powered on offense by Dirk Nowitzki and Harrison Barnes. Nowitzki was a perfect 4-for-4 from 3-point range with 22 points in the game. Barnes had 21 points with two 3-pointers while going 7-of-7 from the free throw line.
They also got a boost from Dwight Powell, who poured in 19 points on 8-for-12 shooting from the floor. Powell was a solid contributor throughout the year, averaging 8.5 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game on the Mavericks roster.
