What grade does DeAndre Jordan deserve for his performance throughout the 2017-18 NBA season?

DeAndre Jordan was a victim of trade rumors throughout last offseason and the early parts of the 2017-18 NBA season. Many thought that the Los Angeles Clippers were going to trade him, but they ended up trading Blake Griffin instead. Jordan stuck around for the entire season and helped the Clippers finish with a 42-40 record.

That record may not have been enough to make the playoffs, but there is hope in L.A. that the Clippers could get back to the playoffs next season, even with both Griffin and Chris Paul no longer being in town.

Doc Rivers is another name that has been rumored to be considering leaving town. That rumor started with Marc Stein of ESPN mentioning that Rivers could look to head back to the Orlando Magic at some point in the future. What better time than now, as the Magic have fired Frank Vogel and will be searching for a new head coach?

With all of that being said, Jordan has a player option for the 2018-19 season. It is expected that he will exercise that option to remain with the Clippers, as his contract will pay him $24.1 million next year. Assuming he does remain in L.A., trade rumors will abound once again.

What kind of grade does Jordan deserve for the 2017-18 season he put together for the Clippers?
