Los Angeles Clippers: Top 10 moments from 2017-18 NBA season
1. Buckets on the champs
In his 13th season in the NBA, Lou Williams put up the best numbers of his career, with highs of 22.6 points and 5.3 assists per game.
The man was a walking bucket on a nightly basis, terrorizing opponents off the pick-and-roll, whether it be attacking the rim or pulling up from distance.
Never was this more apparent than on the night of January 10, where Sweet Lou lit up the Bay Area with 50 points in a convincing victory against the Golden State Warriors, 125-106.
This was as big of a statement game as could be, as Williams announced to the rest of the NBA that this was his year, and with the All-Star reserves being announced in less than two weeks, dropping 50 against the defending champs made as good a case as any for Williams to make his first All-Star Game.

Williams should be the frontrunner to win his second Sixth Man of the Year trophy, but there are some who’d argue for guys with more wins to their name. With performances like this one in his back pocket, it’d be hard to argue for anyone else to take home the hardware.
