The Toronto Raptors unraveled the Washington Wizards on Tuesday, 130-119. Here are three takeaway from Game 2.

The Toronto Raptors had a few questioning if the Washington Wizards had a chance at an upset in Game 2, putting an early halt to any lingering doubt. They set a playoff team record for points in the first quarter with 44, while DeMar DeRozan set a personal career high for playoff points in a game with 37.

Toronto continued its barrage of 3-pointers, raining in 13 on the night. As they did often in the regular season, the Raptors showed offensive balance, with six different players finishing in double digits in the scoring column. Kyle Lowry and Jonas Valanciunas both finished with double-doubles, and C.J Miles provided 18 points.

While the Wizards used their bench to fight back (63 points), their internal issues appeared to be the headline. Star guard John Wall finished with team-high 29 points and nine assists. His co-star Bradley Beal, however, finished with just nine points on 3-of-11 shooting.

After trailing by double-digits for a majority of the contest, the Wizards made third-quarter runs to creep back in the game, but the Raptors were ultimately too much, winning 130-119. With that being said, let’s take a deeper look into the big takeaways from Game 2.
