1. Sophomore breakout steals the spotlight

After scoring 20 points in the Game 1 victory, Jaylen Brown continued his impressive play Tuesday night, knocking down five 3s en route to 30 points, becoming the youngest Celtic to ever drop 30+ in a playoff game.

Only an NBA sophomore, Brown is playing like anything but, showing a level of calmness reserved for the oldest of veterans.

With the likes of Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton, the Bucks knew where the bulk of their offense would come from. Because Irving will not suit up no matter how far the Celtics advance in the postseason, Boston needed to find another source of offense in order to win games.

At 20.0 points through the first two games, veteran Al Horford has the experience to know when he needs to score the ball, and after playing exceptionally well replacing Irving toward the end of the regular season, Terry Rozier looks ready for the moment.

The key for Boston could be their 21-year-old gem.

As the leading scorer for the C’s through their first two victories with 25.0 points per game, Brown has taken it upon himself to become more involved in the offense.

While he probably can’t keep up the scoring binge he’s currently on, Brown’s ability to put the ball in the basket could prove invaluable to a Celtics team that struggled to score even with Irving in the lineup.
