2. 3-pointers the difference

Despite their nearly identical 3-point percentage with just a 0.7 percent advantage in favor of Boston, the Celtics made six more 3s than the Bucks in Game 2, which equates to 18 more points on the offensive end.

Terry Rozier continued his hot shooting from deep, knocking down four 3-pointers, equalling his total from the series opener. Both Jaylen Brown and Marcus Morris each knocked down two apiece, with three other players knocking down one each.

Neither team has a primary weapon that would be considered an elite outside shooter, which makes the battle behind the arc all the more interesting.

The Celtics’ ability to win the 3-point battle could prove to be crucial over the course of the series, because without Kyrie Irving, Boston is going to need all the offensive firepower it can get.

Whether or not the Celtics can maintain the high level of shooting they achieved in Game 2 is another question, but if they can consistently out-shoot Milwaukee, they give themselves a great chance of eliminating the Bucks.
