3. Defense can still improve

Despite the blowout loss, Milwaukee still shot exceptionally well from the field, converting 59.7 percent of its shots. For a Celtics team that prides its on defensive effort, this is unacceptable.

Antetokounmpo is the type of player that can’t be stopped from dropping 30 if he wants to, but the key is to make him shoot worse than the 13-of-17 he shot in Game 2.

Without Kyrie Irving, the C’s cant expect to score 120 every single night like they did in Game 2. More often than not, Boston is going to have to grind it out on the defensive end if it wants to nab a victory.

As the series shifts to Milwaukee, the games will only get tougher for the C’s. The Bucks will no doubt be energized by their home fans and come out with a heightened level of aggression on both ends.

With the Celtics likely to regress to their scoring that ranked 20th in the league during the regular season, they have to make sure their defense is at the level that placed them first in defensive rating throughout the year.
