The Orlando Magic may have had a season to forget, but there were still reasons to smile throughout their 2017-18 regular season slog.

For the Orlando Magic, their 2017-18 season was another tough uphill battle. The team once again failed to make any kind of noise and found itself out of playoff contention by New Year’s Day.

Given the modest expectations the Magic had to start the year, their failures actually felt worse because of the potential to at least be more competitive. Many have called it the worst year of their rebuild — some kind of achievement considering it was the sixth year of trying to get the Orlando back to relevance.

Despite all of this, however, there were rare moments throughout the gloomy days that had fans smiling. Yes, some of these might have been a stretch, because the season really was that bad for them, but when an organization is at its worst you have to find any reason you can to smile.

The firing of head coach Frank Vogel may yet prove to be the turning point for the franchise, but as of now, these are the 10 moments that would have made fans happiest during the 2017-18 campaign.
