4. Dunn comes up clutch against Utah Jazz

The Bulls were on one heck of a roller coaster ride coming into this Dec. 13 matchup against the Utah Jazz. You see, just a week before they had dropped 10 straight before recording wins against the Hornets, Knicks and Celtics.

Keeping that in mind, there was no way the Bulls would extend their streak against a team that had pounded them by 30 points three weeks ago, right?

Well, as impossible at that sounds, that is exactly what the Bulls did, narrowly defeating the Jazz by a 103-100 margin. While most of the talk after this game centered around Nikola Mirotic’s 29-point, nine-rebound outing, there was another player who hit a couple of key buckets down the stretch – Kris Dunn.

He converted a basket at the 1:39 mark to give the Bulls a 98-94 lead. Then, after the Jazz scored on their next possession, Dunn hit a step-back jumper over Alec Burks with 22 seconds left to play.

"“I believe in my game,” Dunn told ESPN. “The coaching staff believes in me, my teammates do. There’s going to be times where there’s going to be bad games, I understand that, but I am going to keep fighting.”"

Although Dunn didn’t have a great shooting night from the field (6-for-18), he did round out his outing with eight assists, seven rebounds and four steals. Even more important, it was moments like this one that gave the coaching staff confidence that Dunn was capable of making the right play when the game was on the line.
