1. All streaks must come to an end
As previously mentioned, the Raptors ended their 10-game losing streak in Game 1s. It’s unclear how much the Raptors thought about their past coming into Saturday, but it was good to see them get off on the right foot.
Toronto has often had to play catchup, often against inferior opponents, but it managed to protect home-court against the 8-seeded Wizards.

Finally having a different viewpoint, the Raptors have an opportunity to take a commanding 2-0 lead Tuesday back in “The Six.” If they have it their way, Saturday won’t be the last streak they break through this playoff run.
