3. The bench came up big

An important factor for Minnesota given the high minutes their starters play belongs to the reserves. Jamal Crawford and the much-maligned Derrick Rose pitched in 15 and 16 points, respectively.

Gorgui Dieng chipped in seven points, giving the Wolves a 38-16 advantage in bench points overall.

If the T-Wolves can continue to receive positive contributions from their bench, they’€™ll be able to give Houston a bigger fight than most expected.
