5. Limit Myles Turner

While many people expected Myles Turner to make the leap that many third-year players do, the ascension of Victor Oladipo made that difficult to pull off, and actually led to a decrease in points, rebounds and field goal percentage for the former Texas Longhorn.

Even though Turner has struggled in his role, his talent still makes him a scary matchup. The 21-year-old shot 35.7 percent from distance this past season while blocking 1.8 shots per game at the other end, giving him a unique skill-set comparable to Kristaps Porzingis.

Without any player who can match his length and his height, all the pieces are in place for Turner to have a big series.

If Turner can find a balance between his perimeter and low-post game, his abilities can pose a lot of matchup problems. He can bully shorter Cavs like Love and Thompson down low, getting them in foul trouble, or punish the slower Ante Zizic on the perimeter.

If the Cavaliers can somehow limit Turner’s production with a combination of different matchups and double-teams, thereby not giving Oladipo a second option to help him on offense, the Pacers will have a difficult time generating open looks, as Cleveland can simply zero in on Oladipo and challenge his teammates to beat them.
