Predictions

Victor Oladipo has turned into a special player. He’s somebody that the Indiana Pacers fans will be happy to root for for years. Unfortunately for the Pacers, they got matched up with the Cleveland Cavaliers, and arguably the best player in the league. The history of LeBron in the playoffs dictates that the first round of the playoffs is a breeze for him.

While the Pacers are a sneaky good defensive team, shoot the ball efficiently and have a young star in Oladipo, they are inexperienced, lacking home-court advantage and not deep enough to stop the likes of LeBron James and Kevin Love. Everybody hopes for an upset or at least a close series, but James hasn’t given that to the fans in a long time, and until he shows true signs of slowing down, it would be foolish to pick against the King.

Even if Oladipo explodes in a game for an amazing line, I’d still bet LeBron James finds a way to top him. As stated above, playoff basketball is a completely different beast, one that LeBron James thrives in and the Indiana Pacers don’t.
