With the Los Angeles Clippers eliminated from playoff contention, it’s time to figure out what L.A. can take from this past season.

After being mathematically eliminated from the playoffs this past Saturday night, the Los Angeles Clippers ‘ 2017-18 season was virtually over.

It was quite the season for L.A.. Despite losing starting point guard Patrick Beverley for the season in November, then trading franchise centerpiece Blake Griffin in January, they still managed to compete in the extremely competitive Western Conference.

Heading into this offseason, the Clippers still have plenty of question marks surrounding their roster.

DeAndre Jordan is likely to opt out of his contract, possibly making himself a free agent too pricy for the Clippers to bring back. The same could be said for guard Avery Bradley.

Then there’s the matter of the head coaching position, which is currently held by Doc Rivers, but with a new plan set for the future, L.A. might want to hire someone who betters fits their current trajectory as a franchise. For now, it appears they want him back, however.

For now, let’s ignore all that the Clippers will have to deal with, instead focusing on both the good and bad they can take from this season in order to improve for the next.
