1. Allow Bradley Beal and John Wall to both play point guard

With three games left in the regular season, the Washington Wizards need to start thinking about strategies for the playoffs. They have one game left against a potential playoff matchup in the Boston Celtics, but that shouldn’t stop them from allowing both John Wall and Bradley Beal to both run the offense.

Based on the results of the Cleveland game, John Wall still isn’t completely back into the swing of things on offense. Given that and the lack of depth in the backcourt for the Wizards, it seems like a perfect time to let both Wall and Beal run the offense.

They both bring different dynamics and attention on defense with the ball in their hand, that’s been proven. Beal is also looking a lot more comfortable getting other guys shots as well. After all, he is averaging a career-high 4.5 assists per game this season. He racked up eight assists against the Cavaliers on Thursday night.

There’s less room for panic with two ball-handlers like Beal and Wall on the floor. Given what their bench has given them this season, both players should expect to be running things as the rotation should shrink some more in the playoffs.
