8. De’Aaron Fox, Sacramento Kings

Last week: 6th (↓2)

As March comes to a close, Sacramento Kings rookie guard De’Aaron Fox is beginning to come into his own. Fox put up some notable numbers this month, showing that he’s learning how to be a consistent player on the basketball court.

He shot 44.8 percent from the field this month, a career-high by his own standards, while averaging 11.8 points, 3.5 assists and 2.3 rebounds per game. His 3-point shooting could still use some improvement, as he was 23.8 percent from behind the arc. He’s still shooting 32.3 percent from 3-point range on the season.

As Fox learns to become more of a volume shooter, his efficiency from behind the arc will become a bigger focus. Right now, though, he’s showing that he has the potential to be a solid scoring option for the Kings, whether it’s as a starter or off the bench. Now he just needs to pick things up defensively. He’s generating a net rating of -12.0 in 2017-18.
