10. Lonzo Ball, Los Angeles Lakers

Last week: 8th (↓2)

Los Angeles Lakers rookie point man Lonzo Ball kicks off this week’s power rankings at No. 10. Ball is experiencing a bit more of the shooting slump that plagued him as the Lakers look to stay in playoff position with 10 games remaining in the regular season.

He is shooting 25 percent from the floor and just 13.6 percent from 3-point range while averaging 7.3 points per game in Los Angeles’ past three contests. On the bright side, he’s also averaging 9.0 assists, 7.3 rebounds and 1.3 steals across the same span. While he isn’t shooting the ball particularly well, he’s made up for it in other ways.

March hasn’t been Ball’s worst shooting month, but it hasn’t been his best either. He’s shooting 31.9 percent from the field and 26.4 percent from the 3-point arc this month. He’ll need to find his shooting consistency to be a bigger threat offensively. For now, his efficiency is his biggest weakness.
