Rationale:

  • Somehow the rims are still standing at Smoothie King Arena. Wednesday night against the New Orleans Pelicans, Myles Turner shook off Anthony Davis with a pump fake and slammed the ball over Cheick Diallo with a one-handed tomahawk. The dunk drew an incredible reaction from the bench, similar to any team featuring him in their FanDuel NBA lineup. Over the past seven games, Turner is averaging 17.3 points, 7.1 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per game.
  • A hip injury has kept Hassan Whiteside sidelined indefinitely, opening up an opportunity for Bam Adebayo to entrench himself within the Miami Heat’s rotation. The 14th overall pick of the 2017 NBA Draft has shown flashes throughout his debut season, as he has swatted away five shots against the Toronto Raptors or collected 16 rebounds in a contest against the Sacramento Kings earlier this year. Adebayo has the potential to be dominant in several statistical categories, making him an intriguing low-budget option for FanDuel NBA rosters.
