Rationale:

  • A string of five-consecutive triple-double performances from Oklahoma City guard Russell Westbrook was snapped Tuesday night against the Boston Celtics, but his 27-point, eight-rebound, seven-assist effort still translated to 45.1 fantasy points in FanDuel NBA tournament play. Westbrook has submitted 10 performances with at least 40 fantasy points in his last 11 games, while averaging 28.4 points, 10.3 rebounds, 9.3 assists and shooting 51.7 percent from the field.
  • Few guards are as capable of collecting rebounds as San Antonio Spurs point guard Dejounte Murray. On a single possession against the Washington Wizards Wednesday night, Murray collected three offensive rebounds, equaling the total Washington managed all night. Murray is tied with Kyle Lowry and Chris Paul for the third-highest rebounding average among all point guards in the NBA at 5.6 per game.
