The sharpshooting of Kyle Lowry on the perimeter has elevated him to an elite FanDuel NBA point guard roster option for Friday night.

Over the past three games, Kyle Lowry has doubled the amount of shots he has made from 3-point range over his season average, making him a perfect fit for any FanDuel NBA roster.

For the year, Lowry has connected 210 times from 3-point range, the fourth-highest mark in the league, while shooting 40.3 percent from beyond the arc.

The 3.1 conversions from 3-point range places Lowry in a five-way tie for the third-highest average in the league, along with Klay Thompson, Eric Gordon, Damian Lillard and Paul George.

Lowry may soon pass the group if he continues the torrid shooting that has propelled him to an elite FanDuel NBA point guard option over the last three games. During the three-game run, Lowry has averaged 23.7 points, 8.3 assists and 4.3 rebounds a game, paving the way to an average of 39.7 fantasy points in FanDuel NBA tournament play.

The biggest spike in scoring for Lowry has come on the perimeter, as he has converted an average of 6.0 shots from 3-point range and is making 62.1 percent of his attempts from downtown.

Lowry was at his best against the Orlando Magic Tuesday night, as he poured in 25 points while converting 7-of-13 attempts from 3-point range, just one shy of matching a season-high.

With 3-point field goals carrying a weight of three points in FanDuel NBA’s scoring system, precise shooting from beyond the arc can quickly accelerate a fantasy team’s point total.

Few players are able to generate points as quickly as Lowry in FanDuel NBA tournament play, and with the Raptors hosting a Brooklyn Nets team that allows opponents to convert nearly 37 percent of their attempts from 3-point range, he could be in line for another lofty scoring total.
