2. Michael Beasley is on fire

While New York has been using some of their younger players at the expense of some veterans, Michael Beasley has remained in the rotation. Beasley has been getting his normal allotment of minutes and is doing what he does best; score and rebound the basketball.

There isn’t much guaranteed in sports, but one thing that is guaranteed is Beasley will score the ball when he is on the court. In the five games at home, Beasley was unstoppable, averaging 16 points per game on 64.8 percent shooting. He made 3-of-5 from 3-point land, but his low number of 3-point attempts is a big reason for his efficient performances.

In addition to the gaudy scoring numbers, Beasley averaged eight rebounds per game. He even had a seven-assist performance against the 76ers when he scored 24 points with 13 rebounds.

Beasley has been a revelation for the Knicks this season and continues to produce when given the opportunity. He will continue producing whenever given the chance. Once Kristaps Porzingis went down with an injury, Beasley emerged as a go-to option for the Knicks and has performed admirably.
