Overachiever: LeBron James, Cleveland Cavaliers

LeBron James has the Cleveland Cavaliers playing on another level as the final stretch of the regular season quickly approaches. At 33 years of age, James has shown no signs of slowing down with his latest feat of 17 assists and zero turnovers.

The last time James achieved a game without a turnover was on Nov. 20 against the Detroit Pistons when he had just eight assists. Now, he’s set the bar much higher with a new career-high of 17 assists. It is the 43rd game of his career he’s gone without a turnover.

James is averaging 31.4 points, 10.2 rebounds, 9.9 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.1 blocks per game in the month of March. He may be a tough sell for the MVP Award given James Harden’s performance, but if ever there were a dark horse candidate, surprisingly, LeBron is it.

For his career, James is averaging 27.6 points, 7.7 rebounds and 7.1 assists per game during March. In his 15th season, he’s still showing that he can take his game to another level. He certainly showed it in Cleveland’s 15-point comeback victory.
