Rationale:

  • In his first game back from the NBA’s concussion protocol, Orlando Magic Aaron Gordon submitted a 33.7 fantasy point effort in FanDuel NBA leagues by totaling 16 points, six rebounds, three assists, a steal and a block in 34 minutes. With his future uncertain in Orlando, as he has the ability to enter the market as a restricted free agent, Gordon is playing for a massive payday and is a good bet to pile up statistics for a Magic team in desperate need of any production.
  • The Los Angeles have employed numerous elite talents, but Kyle Kuzma has joined an extremely rare group with his exceptional play this season. Kuzma is just the fourth player in franchise history to total at least 1,000 points and 400 rebounds in their debut season, joining Magic Johnson, Elgin Baylor and Jerry West. Kuzma has knocked down 135 shots from 3-point range, second-most among rookies, and is coming off a 27-point effort against the Indiana Pacers Monday night — his eighth game this year with at least 25 points.
