Following a career-high scoring outburst Tuesday night against the Utah Jazz, Dennis Schroder emerges as a perfect complementary piece for any FanDuel NBA lineup.
A fourth quarter scoring binge from Dennis Schroder capped off his finest performance in FanDuel NBA tournament play all season.
In the final frame of Wednesday’s contest against the Utah Jazz, Schroder poured in 17 of his career-high 41 points, helping the Atlanta Hawks snap a six-game losing streak.
The bulk of the scoring from Schroder came from him simply attacking the basket. Six of his 16 made field goal attempts came at the rim, as opponents had difficulty staying in front of his dribble drives to the basket.
Schroder is pouring in 9.4 points per game off drives, tied with DeMar DeRozan for the second-highest total in the league this season.
Along with his career-high scoring performance, Schroder continues to involve his teammates in the offense. Even though he launched 28 shots, Schroder still managed to dish out seven assists, marking the fourth consecutive game he has totaled at least seven assists.
As the Hawks close out a three-game road swing Thursday night, it comes against a team Schroder has historically fared well against.
Schroder has posted 15 points and 6.1 assists throughout his career against the Sacramento Kings, and when the two teams met earlier in the year, he totaled 21 points and eight assists.
While Schroder is coming off a 55.5 fantasy point effort in FanDuel NBA league play, his averages of 20.2 points, 6.1 assists and 1.1 steals per game over the last 10 contests makes him a viable point guard option for any daily fantasy league lineup.
