3. Jalen Brunson and Mikal Bridges vs. Press Virginia

Jalen Brunson and Mikal Bridges won’t face pressure like West Virginia in the NBA. That being said, it’s a good test for them, especially mentally.

Brunson will likely do most of the heavy lifting. His one-on-one matchup with Jevon Carter is extremely promising for the draft. Both players are fringe first round/second round point guards, mostly due to age and lack of elite athleticism.

That matchup is enough reason to watch by itself. Yet beyond that is how Bridges plays against an aggressive and mobile defense. After dissecting Alabama in the second half of their second round game, this is another chance for Bridges to show off his shot and scoring diversity.

Just like Gilgeous-Alexander, few players are as hot as Bridges right now. Getting past West Virginia might just be one step en route to a national championship.
