  • As the Philadelphia 76ers continue their march toward the postseason, center Joel Embiid has elevated his game over the past five contests. The seven-footer is posting 25.6 points, 13.6 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 2.4 blocks per game, helping Philadelphia win four of its past five contests. In each of his past two appearances, Embiid has pulled down 19 rebounds, setting a career-high Friday against the Brooklyn Nets, then matching it during Monday’s victory over the Charlotte Hornets.
  • Officially eliminated from playoff contention in the Eastern Conference, the Chicago Bulls have started providing additional minutes in the rotation to some fringe player in an effort to see the impact they may be able to provide. Center Cristiano Felicio has been one of the primary beneficiaries, starting each of the past two games and making an impact in FanDuel NBA tournament play.
