Rationale:

  • Andre Drummond is leading the league in offensive rebounds for the fifth consecutive season, a feat only surpassed by Hall-of-Fame center Moses Malone in league history. Malone led the NBA in total offensive rebounds each season from 1976-83. Drummond has pulled down 347 offensive rebounds, only 12 more than Steven Adams for the most in the NBA this season. If Drummond manages to maintain his average of 5.2 offensive rebounds for the remainder of the year, he will join Malone and Dennis Rodman as the only players in league history to collect over 400 offensive rebounds three or more times.
  • The Houston Rockets continuously devise ways to provide Clint Capela with easy looks at the basket. The 23-year-old center leads the league in both field goal percentage (65.2 percent) and dunks (186) this season.
