Rationale:

  • Anthony Davis is the hottest player available for FanDuel NBA rosters. Over the past five games, opponents haven’t found a way to slow him down on either end of the floor, as he has posted averages of 27.4 points, 12.6 rebounds, 3.8 blocks and 2.4 assists per game. The 24-year-old forward is on pace to lead the league in rejections for the third time in his career, swatting away 2.4 shots a game, while his 151 total blocks are 31 more than any other player in the NBA this year.
  • The scoring and rebounding numbers have declined for Minnesota Timberwolves forward Taj Gibson in each of the past four games, but with the team clinging to the final playoff seed in the rugged Western Conference, he will need to elevate his game. Gibson has posted 7.1 rebounds per game this season, the highest mark of his career, and may need to post a double-double Tuesday night to help Minnesota snap out of a streak featuring five losses in the past seven games.
