Top 4 Shooting Guards

  1. Donovan Mitchell ($8,300) vs. Atlanta Hawks
  2. C.J. McCollum ($7,200) vs. Houston Rockets
  3. Andrew Wiggins ($6,800) vs. L.A. Clippers
  4. Eric Gordon ($4,700) vs. Portland Trail Blazers

Rationale:

  • The Portland Trail Blazers don’t present shooting guard C.J. McCollum with many opportunities to serve as the facilitator, making his seven contests with at least three assists in March even more impressive. During his nine games this month, McCollum is dishing out 3.7 assists per game, 0.5 more than his average for the year. The uptick in assists only increases his value among shooting guards in FanDuel NBA leagues, as he enters Tuesday’s slate of games as the fourth-highest salary among players at his position.
  • Efficiency is slowly becoming a prominent part of the game for Minnesota Timberwolves guard Andrew Wiggins. Since the All-Star break, Wiggins is averaging 20.8 points per game while shooting 47.6 percent from the field and 41.5 percent from 3-point range. The accuracy from beyond the arc is up 10 percent from the first 61 games of the season for Wiggins. The 23-year-old guard has scored 20 or more points three times in the last four games and has shot better than 50 percent from the field in each contest.
