Verdict

The Los Angeles Lakers should certainly be considered one of the best free agent spots in the entire NBA.

Being in L.A. gives players opportunities they wouldn’t otherwise have in smaller markets, and the appeal of playing for arguably the greatest franchise in NBA history is an honor most players would love to have.

The Clippers may not have the history of the Lakers franchise, but with the same city, a legend within the front office, and a possible max contract slot, they have everything else.

What the Clippers lack in championships, they make up for in possibilities.

It’d be nice to continue the Lakers’ tradition of championships, but what’s better than continuing a legacy is starting your own. It won’t be easy, but the rewards could make the journey worthwhile.
