With a max contract slot and an appealing market, the Los Angeles Clippers should join the Lakers as an L.A. team looking to make a splash this offseason.

One of the biggest storylines of this NBA season has been the Los Angeles Lakers‘ eventual pursuit of big-name free agents this coming summer, most notably, LeBron James and Paul George.

The premise definitely make sense — big media market in a warm city, with the NBA’s greatest point guard as a front office member, and the allure of playing for arguably the greatest franchise in the league, not to mention the two max contract slots the Lakers will be able to offer any two free agents.
