4. Josh Jackson, Phoenix Suns

Last rank: 6th (↑2)

Slowly, but surely, Phoenix Suns forward Josh Jackson is solidifying himself as a top-five rookie. Jackson has continued to assert himself as the season has progressed and March has shown he can be a solid Sixth Man, at the very least.

He’s averaging 15.7 points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.4 steals per game while shooting 46.6 percent from the floor and 31.6 percent from 3-point range in March. In November, Jackson was shooting 18.4 percent from the arc. During December, it was 24.1 percent. He saw it rise to 31.9 percent in January before it dropped again in February to 26.5 percent.

Jackson is beginning to find his stroke from behind the arc and when he does, it’s going to be a lethal combination next to young sharpshooter Devin Booker. Until then, enjoy the show he’ll put on without a ton of 3-point attempts.

Jackson set a new career-high in points (36) on Saturday night to the tune of 14-of-23 shooting from the floor, albeit against the Golden State Warriors. The Suns lost 124-109 in the end, but Jackson’s performance — off the bench, no less — is hard to ignore.
