9. John Collins, Atlanta Hawks

Last rank: N/A

Atlanta Hawks rookie John Collins has been on a rollercoaster ride both on the court and in the power rankings. He finds himself back in the Top 10 after a strong showing through the month of March.

Collins is averaging 11.0 points, 7.6 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game on 59.7 percent shooting from the floor and 37.5 percent shooting from behind the 3-point arc. He posted a double-double in the Hawks’ last game against the Milwaukee Bucks (15 points and 12 rebounds) on Saturday night. Atlanta ultimately fell 122-117.

Despite losing six games in a row, Collins has remained a bright spot for the Atlanta Hawks. He leads the team in rebounds per game and shooting percentage in the month of March.

Collins may not be very high on the Rookie of the Year ballot but should be a lock to make an All-Rookie team at the season’s conclusion.
