6. Milwaukee Bucks
The Milwaukee Bucks are currently 36-32, seventh in the Eastern Conference. They are 3-7 in their last 10 games, but their remaining games favor a shift in their status. With Giannis Antetokounmpo at the helm, they should finish a spot above their current position.
The Bucks are one of those middle-of-the-pack teams with their own struggles. Take their recent loss to the Orlando Magic, who are 21-48. Milwaukee fell 126-117 on Wednesday night due to big games from Orlando’s backcourt. Antetokounmpo still put up 38 points himself against the Magic, but it wasn’t enough as Orlando’s backcourt combined for 67 points.
Backcourt issues have been the Bucks’ biggest issue this season. Both Malcolm Brogdon and Matthew Dellavedova are both out with injuries. Their return will give Antetokounmpo some much-needed relief on the defensive front and then some. Brogdon has been out since Feb. 1 and Dellavedova has been on the mend since Feb. 4.
Consequently, Milwaukee’s record is 9-10 through the months of February and March.
